The day when I share a song that has been at the top of my favorite list lately. Today's song is Gravity by Sara Bareilles. I first heard this song on So You Think You Can Dance and had forgotten all about it until I heard it a year later on Pandora (do you use Pandora? You neeeeed to!) and now I'm completely smitten.
Gravity is a song that truly tugs at my heartstrings and leaves me nearly breathless every time. It's just so hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics are something that I really can relate to. I think most people would associate the lyrics with a romantic love but, as evidenced by Mia Michaels' routine on SYTYCD, it can translate to anything in this world that has a hold of you and is keeping you down.

The first time I heard this song I FELL IN LOVE!!! It's so haunting and true. I look at it as fighting my flesh to stay on God's path. It's on my IPOD and my phone, I doubt that will ever change.
